How to show photo’s and stories of people that don’t have a home.
This exhibition about migration explores the compelling motivations people have for embarking on often dangerous journeys to seek safety or a better life. The photographs show stories of conflict, persecution, natural disaster or human rights violations. Unfortunately, this is of all times, and extremely current.
We designed this exhibition, from co-curation to 3D-modelling. From graphic design to staging. Assigned by, and in collaboration with World Press Photo Foundation. For the city of Novi Sad (Serbia), European Capital of Culture 2022. All the photographs are from WPP’s award-winning archive.
With our spacial concept we tried to give the stories a temporary home with three lightweight wooden houses.
